HOW TO FIND SKENES CREEK LODGE MOTEL & LICENSED RESTAURANT: VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORT
V-Line trains start at Melbourne's Southern Cross train station, and arrive in Geelong roughly an hour later. After a short wait, a connecting V-Line bus service will take you via the Great Ocean Road, and drop you off at Skenes Creek or Apollo Bay roughly 2.5 hours later. HOW TO GET AROUND SKENES CREEK AND APOLLO BAY: VIA BUS
V-Line coaches operate daily services that will take you past all of the popular towns and tourist destinations on the Great Ocean Road (Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Arch, etc), allowing plenty of time for you to stop and admire the views. It runs from Melbourne to Apollo Bay to Warrnambool (via Lorne, Anglesea, Geelong) each day including weekends. Whilst there is a bus stop conveniently located within walking distance from our Skenes Creek accommodation, please visit the V-Line website for exact routes and stopping locations, or refer to their online timetables (requires Adobe Reader, a free download).
Apollo Bay also has a shuttle bus that will transport you to destinations such as the Otway Fly Treetop Walk - simply contact the Great Ocean Road Shuttle Services on (03) 5237 9278 or email gorshuttle@bordernet.com.au whilst you're staying at our Skenes Creek accommodation.
